Why Hatch campaign templates exist

If you want to turn conversations into revenue, you need to get your leads and customers to respond in the first place. There are three keys to getting a response: Reaching out across multiple channels, reaching out over the course of several days, and saying the right thing. This is why Hatch exists, as it automates this kind of outreach.

But that still begs many questions, like...

  • How many days should you reach out before giving up?
  • Should you reach out every single day?
  • When should you use text? When should you use email?
  • Is it okay to send both a text and an email on the same day?
  • What should you say?

And oftentimes, the best practices for the above questions are somewhat counterintuitive. This is why our templates exist.

What are Hatch campaign templates?

Hatch campaign templates contain recommended message campaigns—duration, frequency, channel, and verbiage—for specific use cases, to help you maximize response rates, reduce opt-out rates, and reduce spam rates.

They are written based on analyzing performance data on thousands of Hatch campaigns,  as well as these messaging best practices

Can I modify the templates?

Absolutely. You are free to modify the campaign templates to your liking - just be sure to stick to the best practices

We also have compiled guides with variations of the messaging, in case you want to try something new. Those can be found here:

Where can I see the Hatch campaign templates?

The campaign templates are available right within Hatch, but we also have made them available in word document form. This is helpful for:

  • Collaboration with team members on message verbiage.
  • Being able to first browse the templates without having to implement them.
  • Anyone who doesn’t have access to Hatch, who wants to understand what a campaign looks like.
