Integration Basics
What does the integration do?
Pull Contacts: Every 15 minutes, Hatch will sync with ServiceMonster to retrieve updated Contacts in order to create a Hatch contact & opportunity.
Push Communications: Anytime a communication such as a call, text, or email takes place within Hatch, the integration will send that information back to ServiceMonster's Account Record in the Activities Section.
What information does the integration pull into Hatch?
It will pull in any contact details such as Name, Phone Number, and Email from the Account Record. It will also pull in Jobs, Orders, and Leads. Those are added to the opportunity details in Hatch.
Where do Hatch communications show in ServiceMonster?
When communications are sent back to ServiceMonster, they will show up in the Acccount Record in the Activities Section.
The type of Hatch communication is noted in the Subject of the Log, while the content of the communication can be viewed by clicking on the Activity.

Setting Up the Integration
Here’s how to get started:
- Hatch offers a native integration with ServiceMonster that you can activate within the App Marketplace.
- In your ServiceMonster, navigate to Settings -> Management -> API Users.
- Create a new API User with the Role set to Admin. You can make the optional note Hatch for your reference. Click Save and note the provided User Name and Password.
- In the Hatch Marketplace, fill out the integration configuration form by entering the User Name and Password provided by ServiceMonster for the API User and click "Finish".
Frequently Asked Questions
How often does the sync with ServiceMonster occur?
Hatch syncs with your CRM every 15 minutes.
Will Hatch change contact’s statuses in ServiceMonster?
Hatch does not update any status in ServiceMonster through the integration. However, if you change the status in ServiceMonster, Hatch will update that contact’s information next time it syncs (every 15 minutes).
What information is pushed back to ServiceMonster?
The only thing we push back to ServiceMonster is the communications that occurred in Hatch. This can include texts, emails, or calls. These will populate in ServiceMonster's Account Record in the Activities Section.
