Zapier + Hatch Part Two: Triggers and Actions

In this article, we’ll go more in depth about the uses for Hatch's Zapier app

Triggers

New Contact

Description

This trigger will listen for newly created contacts in the board of your choosing. A good use-case is if you want to also push ingested new contacts from Hatch into your own CRM.

Use Case

This allows Hatch to be used as an aggregation point. Instead of setting up multiple integrations with many individual lead sources to go to both Hatch, your CRM, and anywhere else you might need...you could integrate the leads sources with Hatch then used the New Contact trigger to flow those leads into your CRM.

New Communication Outbound

Description

This trigger will listen for communication received within the board of your choosing. A good use-case for this is if you combine this with the New Communication Inbound trigger to listen for communication occurring inside your boards.

Use Case

This can be used to create a custom integration with your CRM to record communications in your source of truth.

New Communication Inbound

Description

This trigger will listen for inbound communication occurring inside the board of your choosing. A good use-case for this is if you combine this with the New Communication Outbound trigger to listen for communication occurring inside your boards.

Use Case

This can be used to create a custom integration with your CRM to record communications in your source of truth. Another potential use case would be a custom notifications system--for example, you could send a notification in Slack.

Actions

Create Contact

Description

This action will push contacts into your Hatch account.
